Quiz Answers

When the question was posed, the blog had been live for 100 days. The first quiz reflected domains that accessed this blog an average of five times per day. The second quiz reflected domains that accessed this blog an average of one time per day.

It took a little bit to gather some steam, but right now, some people are taking note. Now, what they are noting is unknown of course. Also unknown is if the access if for business or unauthorized personal use of the company computer!

I was surprised at some of the names as well. We are very well read for being a little blog out of nowhere with an average of 877 unique visits per day now for the past month with over 70,000 pageviews. People are spending an average of just over 5 minutes reading the site on each visit.

We have had people from 62 countries and all 50 states read this blog over the past month.

Just thought those were some interesting numbers.

  2. Yes! Thank you for reading this blog. Now maybe you will understand why professional TA's are upset. We are not jealous of the MLM's. If they want to actually SELL travel, service their customers and learn the business fine. But, the majority are interested only in their down line, the perks and tax write offs. This is crystal clear here.

  3. YTB offers trainings, but there is the marketing side of the business and or the travel side of the business. Perks are required to do have travel bookings as well as a test to be taken, and tax write offs, well I hope they have a good CPA...I'm not in YTB but I come here and find it so ridiculous that all of you are grown and you TA's think you know everyones intentions in this business. John you are one of the most opionated people I have seen, are you a short man? Just wondering? You seem to have short mans syndrome. I bet you stand about 5'11 or shorter...Lisa you are so unprofessional. YTB reps or rta or whatever you are do you and stop feeding into all this bull crap.

  4. I'm unprofessional? Hows that. I come here to defend my profession and myself. When the same old YTB/MLM agents come on here and spew their name calling and no one bats an eye.

We are stating our opinions on what we have seen first hand in this industry, and its going to hell in a handbasket full of people joining MLM's touting they are "travel agents" when they have absoulutely no knowledge of the industry. Its ok for someone to be selling travel and to have no clue what to do when/if something goes wrong. What if that were your vacation..that you spent countless dollars on, would you take it so lightly then?

  5. Isn't the idea behind blogging for the "blogger" to share/air his/her opinion? Please provide me with a blog that is run by an unopinionated blogger.

    what a ridiculous statement!

  6. For the record I am between 6' and 6'1".

Not that I would consider 5'11" short but whatever.

The wonderful thing about opinions is that everyone can have one. When you blog, you are supposed to offer your opinions and if you feel I am one of the most opinionated people you have seen--I thank you heartily.

Now, speaking of opinions, why don't you go see if you can find one of your own and not just spew the same opinions that YTB feeds to the masses....there are two sides to the business...you need to be a RTA to get travel perks...blah blah blah.

  9. The best thing about this blog is that hopefully it will be read by people that are doing research while considering joining YTB. Maybe it will keep them from falling for the YTB hype.
    It's definitely Fair and Balanced.
