Return Of A Favorite

Well, Traveling Moms is back and as ill-informed as ever. This time, she goes by the moniker "Dine In"--I suppose for all those dining options her YTB site now offers!

But apparently she never got the memo about NCL. Someone left a comment asking about an NCL departure from New York:
Can you get me a price on THe Norwegan Dawn sailing from New York? I do not fly and we can drive up there or take the train. Does the train take me to the cruise ship?
And she replied:
I posted some info on the cruise from new york that is the only one this year. And you have to get back home from Miami. It is 14 days and they do have some amtrak deals.
And here is the link to the post about the fabulous deal someone can buy from her YTB site on NCL. Note that she didn't answer all the poster's questions and the one she did, she got wrong. No, the train does not go directly to the port. And of course the Norwegian Dawn has weekly departures from New York in May, June, July, August, a little bit in September and all of October. But why expect someone from YTB to know this?

I imagine this might be one of the myriad of reasons NCL tossed YTB overboard. The 92,000 RTAs that they have remaining are (as a whole) pretty clueless! Good job Traveling Moms!

PS: YTB Compliance, I thought you talked to her? Do you need a refreshed list of non-compliant sites?

  1. I just love how her blog is nothing more than cut and paste direct from the supplier sites.

  2. Oh Traveling Mom. It's no wonder the suppliers are running like hell away from YTB. Would you want this woman pushing your product?

    ReplyDelete
  3. I have to give Traveling Mom credit for constantly sticking it to YTB and not listening to them.

    ReplyDelete
  4. I see I am back on your spotlight. First of all the woman asked me a question and I posted the question. Come to think of it probably from travel lisa trying to get a response. You all do that kind of stuff, send comments to other people's blogs and if they answer it then you post it on this trash of a blog. I never said book with me and I never linked it to YTB. I never said the train will take her to a port. The train will take her to baltimore and more than likely their is a shuttle to the port don't be dum. And as far as I know Nobody told me anything about Norweigan. But seeing you all know the news before we do thanks for the heads up. I will remove it from my blog no problem. My blog is about discount trips they can book by me or by calling the vendor what ever people want to do they do have choices. It is just info so why are you all so threaten by my blog.

To me with this economy you should want to fill the cabins. It is not hard to book a cabin what is the problem. I don't get that. If it was my company as long as the room were booked the payment was made I am happy. That is a silly decision in this Economy. I live close to baltimore and a whole lot of people I know would have given them a lot of business I was even thinking about going on that cruise myself. But now I won't even consider it at all.

Royal Caribbean, Norweigan who are your CEO's what kind of idots are these people anyway. People getting layed off everywhere. Nobody wants to spend money and you take away one source of your money that is crazy. But hey, no tears from me, don't care. All the cruise ships go to the same places at one time or another.

And all you other travel agents but wait, Lisa does business travel. How is business? I know my husband don't go on business trips anymore their company cut that out. So, is business slow? Don't talk about one person's company, because you don't know these days if you will be next. Who ever host your travel site can go out of business these days.

What you all need to do is concentrate on your business and making a living.

Love Traveling Mom, thanks for all the traffic

    Read my other blog www.shopaholicwindowshopping.blogspot.com
Maybe that will make you happy. Please fill free to comment I know you will anyway.

  5. Well, I guess that clears that up pretty well :(

TM-you never posted her question you just posted about a cruise line you cannot sell. Sorry you had to hear it here first and not from your company. Makes you wonder what else they are keeping from you doesn't it?

You never answered her question about the train and I pointed that out. But here you tell her the train goes only to Baltimore and then get a shuttle. Uhm, the cruise goes from New York. You take a train to New York and then a cab. That is the answer.

Last we heard, your husband was a cop and was on his way to kick my ass because he knew where I lived. I did not realize that corporate travel was a big thing in a cop's life. But hey, what do I know.

RCCL and NCL made outstanding decisions because they do not want to be affiliated with a scam company. When people do not produce, they are not rewarded as generously. Just like in YTB, if you don;t sell or recruit, you don't earn. But it is very strange that they both decided to NOT WORK WITH YOU...as opposed to working with you at 10%. Does that raise a red flag for you?

And if you want to keep the traffic I am sending you, probably best to leave the pages up, now all that traffic is gone. And who knows, maybe someone woudl have been interested in a restaurant gift certificate or some meat that you sell.

  6. Hey is she still selling the XXX stuff?

  7. Oh Traveling Mom. Where to begin...
First of all dumb is actually spelled d.u.m.b. That's right. There's a b on the end. And questions usually have a question mark on the end. It looks like this. ?

Second, it's a copyright violation for you to copy and paste vendor's info onto your blog.

Third, it's little wonder that vendors have ceased doing business with you. Danielle you can't even spell travel. I would be amazed if you had ever even left the freaking state. What on earth makes you think you are qualified to help someone else with their travel plans?

If you really want to help someone start by helping yourself. Take your $50.00 a month and spend it on going back to school.

    ReplyDelete
  8. LOL Lisa's business travel is doing quite well actually. New account signed today well over $2mil a year. Thanks for asking.

As for me posting questions on your site, not me. The only thing I posted to you was letting you know that YTB cannot sell NCL anymore. Sad that your company tells you nothing. Maybe if some of you actually picked up a trade magazine or read online every know and then you'd know that. Stick to selling coupons.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Whats best is the "all cruise ships go to the same place" comment. Some maybe go to the same place, but CCL is in no way in the same league of ship as RCCL or NCL in my opinion. The fact that you cannot sell 2 of the major lines and you are all ok with that, astounds me.

  12. hey I am not okay with that I don't care for carnival myself I want peace on a cruise. Never said I was okay with that. But I am in the business now an you have to continue what you started until it falls apart.

    ReplyDelete
  13. So what travel agency is low cost and you get all the benefits? Show me. I just want to sell travel mostly anyway. But I want to sell everything whatever people want. I really don't want to say oh we don't do that. So if I need a second business than I will get it. So I can give my customers what they want. So who has the cheapest hosting fees out there. And will give you all the things you need website, credentials let me know. You all talk a good game but I don't see you giving up any information on who is an alternative source if you want to sell travel. Just saying.............

  14. Traveling Mom, since you're "in the business" now let me ask you a couple of questions...

    1. What's a berth?
    2. What's a tender?
    3. What does F.I.T. stand for?
    4. What are the current passport requirements?
    5. What's the difference between a direct and a non-stop flight?

These are very basic questions that anyone "in the business" should be able to answer.

    ReplyDelete
  15. okay
    1. berth is a bunk or bed
    2. tender is money
    3. foreign independent traveler
    4. you need one to go anywhere outside the u.s.
5.Non stop goes from one airport to another
    Direct stops in between

    ReplyDelete
  16. Well 2 out of 5 (being generous there) is about what I woudl expect from someone that purchased their "credentials" to be a "travel agent". If you were in school, that would be a 40%, and in the politically correct world, that would be an "E". They used to call it an "F", but too many people got their feelings hurt!

To be honest TM, from what I have seen from your blogs and your comments, I would never recommend you to any other host. YTB is probably as good as it gets for you and please continue to send in your $50 a month, or hustle your butt off and recruit some more people so you can have the fee reimbursed.

  18. Traveling Mom, if you too want to become an ETA (Egomaniacal Travel Agent) you have to dump YTB, spend most all of your time bashing YTB on every blog and newspaper alert you can find all day long and into the night, start your own blog bashing YTB, and have independently wealthy parents to get you through while you are selling bits of travel here and there. You don't have to pay your bills if you don't want to either. That's how you become a professional ETA!

  22. hey just because I am in YTB don't mean I am not mad about these cruise lines dropping off. I invested and I am trying to work with it. And if I wanted to be an so called official travel agent I can be anything I want to be. I do webpages never went to school self taught. I know html code never went to school self taught. So I think I can manage booking a trip it is not rocket science.

To the SofaKing kindergartner--are you stating that YTB's sales were responsible for this? Funny how when YTB was tossed to the curb, that they said it did not matter and how YTB did not do that much with them anyhow. I think the number was $13M up through November. So are you saying that a measly $14-$15M is responsible for the RCCL report? Did you read the report? RCCL also MADE money this quarter. What about YTB? Last time I looked they were like $3.4 M in the hole and that was only for 9 months!

What is a "whench"? That is a word I do not know, and when I tried looking it up via the online dictionaries, they couldn't find that word. They did give me a selection to choose from, wrench, whence, winHEC, and some archaic Scottish word spelled wheech. Dictionaries are wonderful things, much better than Google. At least the dictionary gave me options, in case I had misspelled something. Google didn't even do that.

  34. You see Traveling Mom, if you really were " in the business" and a real travel agent, there would have been no need for google or wikipedia.
So, I guess if you went to WebMD you believe that would make you a doctor too?
It requires far more than being able to click a mouse to be a travel agent TM.
Many words and phrases have different meanings, dependent upon the context they are used in, or the industry they are used in. TM you're obviously illiterate. How are you going to explain to someone what their travel insurance covers? How are you going to be able to read an itinerary? TM do you have any idea how many continents there are, or where the international date line is? No. Because all you believe it takes to be an agent is a computer. You are sadly mistaken.
You also need to remember that to make it in travel you need to be able to work as a team with the suppliers and vendors. Suppliers don't respect YTB, and the minute you have an issue, try to contact a vendor, and you try to use google to find out what a PNR is, you're screwed, and so is the client.
I am sure that there is an industry that you would be a good fit for, but this isn't it. I can't understand why you would throw money at YTB month after month when you are in such dire need of vocational trainging and education.

  40. TM,

These are the correct answers taken from the resource I suggested:

    What's a berth?
    A bed on a ship in a passenger’s stateroom.

    What's a tender?
A small boat used to supply a larger vessel. A boat used to ferry passengers between a cruise ship and shore.

    What does F.I.T. stand for?
Independent Travel that does not involve a package or a tour.

What are the current passport requirements?
A U.S Passport is not required for direct travel within the 50 States (including Hawaii, Alaska, and District of Columbia) and U.S Territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S Virgin Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Swains Island). TSA has further information.

However, if you are traveling to a U.S. State or Territory THROUGH another country (for example, traveling through Canada to go to Alaska, check the travel.state.gov website to determine the required documentation.

What's the difference between a direct and a non-stop flight?
A direct flight is any flight between two places that carries a single flight number. Unlike a nonstop, a direct flight will make one or more stops between the two places.

    Adjacent
Hotel rooms that are in close proximity.

    Adjoining
Hotel rooms that while next to each other, have no connecting doors.

    Connecting
Hotel rooms that are next to each other and have a connecting door, in additiont to the doors that open onto the hallway.

Travel, if this is the best she can do, then it would behoove both her and any potential clients if she were to go back to school, and get some further education, not only in the travel field, but in things like grammar, spelling, reading comprehension, etc. If she is wanting to be taken seriously as a business professional, ANY kind of business, then these are things that she is sorely lacking skills in. In the business world, these are all things that are looked upon seriously. I mean, think about it. Would you patronize and trust, or continue to patronize and trust, a doctor, lawyer, or any type of professional who displayed the serious lack of any of the skills mentioned above? Would you trust a doctor who was prescribing medication to you or a loved one and couldn't spell? Would you trust an attorney who couldn't spell common words, much less the terms used in his field of practice? Would you trust either of those two professions if they resorted to "your momma is ___________"?

There is no excuse for lack of education in this country. There are night classes to get your GED, online classes and financial aid for those who need it to complete their GED. To make it in today's world you have to have an education. There are ways to get it. And, if you don't that's your fault.

  46. Firemedic, I feel great all the time, no matter what. Please remember that you cannot judge someone's tone from a blog post or email.
I think that it's sad that TM is in the situation that she is in, and can't see how horribly YTB has taken advantage of her, or how completely unprepared she is to be a travel agent. Since YTB is happy to keep taking her money every month and let her believe she can be a travel agent, someone has to step up to the plate and tell her the truth. How does Coach look at himself in the mirror every day while taking money from people like TM who have no chance of success?

    ReplyDelete
  47. Kate...Coach is used to it. He has been collecting money from people who don't stand a chance for many many years. As of yesterday, there were 92,000 people sending him money and 90,000 of them don;t stand a chance. I am sure one little old Traveling Moms is not really of a concern to him. He even said in a conference call that he felt integrity was optional on the road to success!

    ReplyDelete
  48. "How does Coach look at himself in the mirror every day while taking money from people like TM who have no chance of success?"

But you look at yourself in the mirror knowing that YOU have the power to determine who can and who can't have a chance at success? Somehow God has bestowed upon you the abilities to point your finger at people and decide for them who is worthy of being...well.....whatever it is YOU decide what they should or should not be?

The depths of the elitism that oozes from this site.

  49. Please do Ainsworth. Find all those "nasty comments" I have made. I am sure your definition of "nasty" is pretty sensitive, but please do.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Not at all Fireman. The difference is that the pro TTA people on this site are indeed professionals in the industry with experience.

I can go to Galls and buy me a blue light, a sireen, a badge, a nice helmet, some turnouts and a badge. Just give me the address of your station and I will report for duty and expect to be paid. Hey, I am dressing the part, so that means I must be a firemedic..right. It doesn't really matter that I don't know what I am doing. All that matters is that I think I am a Firmedic and I have the uniform to prove it.

But you see, Galls sells to the industry, they do not issue little cards and tell their customers to go forth and pretend as YTB does. If you were on the World's Lamest Tailgate Party Call--the one with the canned applause--you woudl see that Coach just told you that you were now Sales Clerks because he signed you into his downline on Aisle 19. He told you you were florists when he added flowers to the site. Car salesmen when he added cars. Butchers when he added the raw meat. I imagine when the sex toys are added, he will tell you that you are all...oh never mind!

We are not telling anyone what they can or can;t be. All we are asking for is a little integrity and honesty in the portrayal. Seems you had a blog squawking about integrity a bit ago. To be honest, it seems like TM is even beginning to see the light. I have had email correspondence with several RTAs this week asking me for references to REPUTABLE hosts with whom to affiliate.

But that's ok, you keep on believing anything the "Coach" tells you. I am sure it will get you far. And by the way, when is my first shift?

    ReplyDelete
  51. "So who has the cheapest hosting fees out there. And will give you all the things you need website, credentials let me know."

I've mentioned outsideagents.com on more than one occasion. They have no annual, monthly, or other fees. They have an 80/20 split (might be lower for newbies), and give you a website provided by Revelex (same as YTB) for free. If you sell enough to meet the requirements, they will sponsor you for the various ID cards (CLIA, IATAN). If you don't, they won't. They also expect you to take their in-house training (especially for newbies), which by the way is provided for free. They have real travel professionals that will support you and double check your bookings, which you must submit to them via their web interface.

Sorry, I didn't mean this to be a commercial for them, but this question has been asked and answered many times in this forum and other places. I will also note that there are others that probably offer nearly the same thing. This is simply one company that I am familiar with.

    ReplyDelete
  52. John and TM,

All those questions could have been answered by taking First Class Training.

    FIT
A FIT is actually not a tour at all; it’s sort of the opposite of a tour. It’s a custom vacation based on the client’s needs and put together entirely, component by component, by a travel agent or a tour operator. While the letters FIT have no universally accepted interpretation, the most commonly heard meaning is Foreign Independent Travel. But it can be domestic, too!

Firemedic-We are not bestowing worthiness on anyone. We are not going to lie to this poor woman like Coach and the rest of you have been doing and tell her she is going to be a successful travel agent when it isn't going to happen. Maybe in the future if she gets some education & training. But not now.

Someone needs to save her and her money and obviously it isn't going to be anyone in YTB.

  54. 100 years ago when I took Tourism and travel classes FIT meant foreign independent tour. I'm sure First Class Training is better than getting an Associates degree these days.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Tour/Travel -- Take your pick what you call it.

Why not call it travel? The definition fits.

    Independent tour

Independent tours are the most popular type of packaged travel sold today, although some people do not classify these packages as a form of tour. Independent tours appeal to people who want the freedom to do what they want with minimal structure. Independent tours include a combination of two or more travel components that are offered at a package price, such as hotel, car rental, air transportation, etc.

  56. John, TM, and Eddie,

    My Bad Again.

All the answers to the questions you asked are covered of the YTB E-Campus Training. Can't remember how much First Class Training covers on this. I'd have to take time review it to be sure.

    Eddie,

The YTB program of studies is being designed by Marc Mancini Seminars and Consulting. Website design and program fulfillment will be handled by TheAcademy.com, a San Antonio-based firm that specializes in travel-related training solutions. The company built and manages several of the industry’s most prominent certification programs.

Marc Mancini is one of the travel industry's most highly respected and best-known speakers, educators and consultants. It's estimated that nearly 300,000 travel professionals worldwide have benefited from training programs that he has designed or delivered.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I don't really care who does the classes. They are not mandatory and the people who need them most will not pay extra for them.

The Academy.com and Marc Mancini will work for any one who pays them. They are not working for YTb cause they believe in Coach for heavens sake.

Have you been personally notifies about NCL yet? do you care?

    ReplyDelete
  58. Eddie,

You just sparked a better idea in my head.

Maybe you hit on something lasting worthwhile that can come out of this blog post topic other than pounding on Traveling Mom!!!

I like the idea of mandatory E-Campus training and First Class Training inclusive with the purchase price of the Travel Store to say oh maybe something like $995.95.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Rod--there is a reason it is proced at $449.95 +$49.95. It is 10 cents below the minimum to be classified as a biz op. More money then YTB needs to disclose a lot more than they are willing.

    ReplyDelete
  60. John,

I understand what you are saying about claiming to be an "travel agent" and all. I really do and I don't disagree 100%. But I also don't agree 100%. Your analogy of being a firefighter also makes sense so I get your point. But what sucks is you are asking for integrity but at the same time aren't giving it. It's hard to get something back that you don't give. I was addressing Kate's comment, as well as many others on here, that basically stated that TM could not be a travel agent, as though being a TA is some kind of rocket science. It's not. Just like firefighting. It's NOT rocket science. You just have to be willing to do the job and have a head on your shoulders about it. I am guessing that is what you are asking for also and I understand that. But slandering people and spinning what you don't agree with in the light you do makes you look just as bad as you are trying to make YTB look. I believe it makes you all look worse many times especially when you facilitate some of the garbage that the "professional with experience" put out there.

Point is, who the heck are you people to say who can and who cannot do something? 17 years ago in my first EMT class was a guy, who became a great friend, who had cerebral pulsey. His mind was sharp but legs didn't work so well. He wanted to become and EMT and would chase ambulances and such. Pretty goofy thing to do. He was told he would NEVER be an EMT since he couldn't lift patients and couldn't drive the ambulance. Long story short, not only is he and EMT but a paramedic now. If he had listened to the naysayers and the ones that made fun of him, much like the ego's on this site, he would have never achieved his goals.

So my point is, who the heck are you to say TM can't? I don't agree with her bloggings either, but I would never have the audacity to claim that she can or can't do something. Especially something that does NOT take being a doctor to do (as you would like to insinuate). Why don't you go tell your kids what they can and cannot amount to or do and see how that works for you when they grow up. TM is someone's kid so why don't you all get off your high horses long enough to see the humanity in people you disagree with? I believe it's okay to address the actions of someone but slandering them is just plain ridiculous. And facilitating it is just as bad.

  61. Rod, be reasonable. 995.00 is WAY TOO much for YTBs cookie cutter website that anyone with a half a mind can get for free. YTB just doesn't offer that kind of value. And, as John says it moves the MLM up for more federal scrutiny and Coach does NOT WANT that. I'm thinking that 85% of YTBites don't give a damn about training and have no intention of spending more for it. Remember - 85% of your peers lose money at this game.

  62. "TM could not be a travel agent, as though being a TA is some kind of rocket science. It's not. Just like firefighting. It's NOT rocket science."

Oh, so firefighting and being a firemedic like you doesn't require ANY TRAINING at all? That means that any Tom, Dick or Harry off of the street can be a firefighter according to you. It's not rocket science after all.

Interesting I found this on-line about firefighter jobs.

    FIREFIGHTER QUALIFICATIONS

As the name implies, Firefighters take part in fire suppression operations. However, this is only one aspect of the job. They also provide Emergency Medical Service (EMS). Eighty percent (80%) of the calls firefighters respond to are for emergency medical care. The calls include motor vehicle accidents, heart attacks, strokes, home accidents, and drowning. When not responding to emergency medical calls, firefighters are involved in a variety of other activities, such as; Emergency Preparedness, Community Education, Public Service Work, Building Inspections, Personal Development/training, Station and Apparatus Maintenance. Firefighters are usually required to work long shifts, lasting from 8 to 96 hours straight.

Most Fire Departments require that you are at least 18 years of age by the closing date of the recruitment period. Required is a HSD or GED. Successful completion of Fire Science College course work, previous firefighting or EMS experience (full-time, part-time, or volunteer) is highly desirable in the interview process , but is usually not required for testing. Good Vision in both eyes is required. Laser surgery may be acceptable, provided the above-mentioned standards Are met. Must have the ability to distinguish Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) color codes for hazardous material (blue, red, yellow, and white), and have no depth perception or peripheral vision problems. Successful long-term soft contact lens wearers may not be subjected to the uncorrected criterion. These are NFPA 1582 requirements. You must be a US citizen or be eligible for employment in the United States. You must posses a Valid Driver's license and maintain a clean driving record. Must read articles! Click on the the links - they do require Acrobat Reader ( Part 1 ) & ( Part 2 )

    FIREFIGHTER SELECTION PROCESS
You will then be permitted to take a written examination; those with a passing score will be placed on an eligible list. From that list, the most qualified candidates will be invited to participate in the physical ability test. Following the physical performance test, the most qualified candidates will be invited to the preliminary interview. Candidates who are not selected for further testing at this time will remain on the eligible list and may be contacted at a later date if necessary. Those who are selected will go on to the second interview were the Fire Chief will make final selection from the eligible list with the approval of the City Manager. EMS Departments follow many of the same guidelines, but are not as restrictive when it comes to vision, physical abilities and the testing process. If you have your pursuing an entry-level job or that next level promotion dress as though you already hold the position. Casual attire is not appropriate for testing and oral interviews.

It may NOT be rocket science firemedic but even FIREFIGHTERS have STANDARDS and TRAINING!!!

What kind of firefighter are you anyway that doesn't have any????

  63. And, here is Sandersville, Georgia's firefighter qualifications.

  64. John,

Something has to be done to stop really bad incidents like TM, and A Piece of Heaven/Hell Travel, not sure which at this point, it says Heaven so I'll go along with that.

Mandatory training is the way to go. Training that says you know the standards so that we can hold every body Accountable for ethics/integrity violations--now that's novel concept.

The increased government srutiny for being to ensure you are an ethical company is better than the way it is now and getting increased government scrutiny to prove that you are not an unethical company.

Eddie, I disagree with you that it wouldn't be on the worth $995.95 to have an army of travel agents all trained and qualified by the same standardized mandatory training program. The travel site is your base starting position. Like the TTAs, we are not limited to referring clients to our website to depend on our sales.

  66. Real Travel Whatever,

I never said that being a firefighter didn't take training. Those were your words not mine. But you work in an industry that does not have any industry wide qualifications to be called "TA". You guys bitch about YTB and make up the qualifications as you go. When I said firefighting is not rocket science I did not say it did not take training. But selling travel and running into burning buildings is apples and oranges. Don't give me this excuse that people NEED the TTA's all the time either. If that was the case then Epedia would not be the third largest seller of travel (last I checked).

I didn't bother reading your cut and paste job about the firefighter postings. Seen enough of them.

  67. This time last year, Vicki Freed, who was Senior V.P. of Sales at Carnival, who moved over to the Senior Sales Position at RCCL, returned a phone call to me. She used to have a blog site called "Vicki Loves Agents" that I read. I asked her would she help restore the business relationship with YTB and RCCL. Vicki told me could do nothing and could see no changes on RCCLs position in the near future. Vicki went on say that it wasn't her fault that the RTAs had a bad reputation for being untrained and unknowledgeable in the travel industry. That wasn't her exact words, but sums up her statement to me.

Here's the reputation RTAs held with RCCL last year around this time under Lisa Bauer's watch:

RCCL said in the letter that there was a host of negative consequences of the cardmill
business: Consumer experiences with untrained agents tainted their encounters,
the business reputations of accredited and certified travel agents were being
undermined, the costs of Royal Caribbean's operations had increased by having to
provide benefits to people for whom they were not intended and customer services
that Royal Caribbean expected a travel agency to provide were not being provided,
despite the payment of a full commission.

So, why I am bringing this up. Well, thanks to Eddie today, and in John Frenaye's own words, "YTB Travellingman is smarter than the average bear". John, I kept that quote from a long time ago. I'll show it to you if you want.

RTAs have a come a long way in the last year in getting travel training. A long way, but we still aren't there yet. Eddie brought up a good point and TM and A Piece of Hell er Heaven reminds us we still got a problem Houston.

The $995.95 is just a number I came up with and really is not far off from reality, but the main concern is not the price, but getting mandatory travel training to the RTA and Affiliate businesses to bring all Affiliates and RTAs up to par in servicing our clients and maintaining and exemplary image in the real travel agent world .

  68. It's also interesting Travel Agent your profile keeps changing. A couple days ago you had a link to GTI and email. Now, that's gone because you were busted. Now, you have a link to Home Based Travel Agent. You are in YTB because you forgot to delete the team members section. Why hide behind aliases? Why don't you come out and tell us who you really are? As I suspect you are the nutcase Iris from scam.com who is in need of intervention/meds/help.

This is part of the reason why YTB is in trouble. They take anyone without a basic credit check, background check and they don't have any standards for who they hire or educational standards. Again, from Yale to Jail with no education, writing skills or people skills.
