Attorney General Michael B. Mukasey Joins YTB

Although his official biography does not reflect his latest business venture as a Referring Travel Agent, I have it on "unimpeachable" authority that he is indeed with YTB! Congratulations on scoring such a good recruit. I am sure he is up there with Dr. Seligman, Chris Paraldi (maybe they can chat gambling sometime), Phil Piccolo, the mythical Florida Senator, and the Director from Florida that was investigated and slapped down by the Florida Attorney General.

Folks, it has been proven all weekend that no one in YTB ever tell anything but the truth and that they are the bastions of integrity and honesty, so this news must be true. And just to make sure I properly identify my source, I am posting the proof!

Everyone please check back to AG Michael Mukasey's page in a day or so and I an sure the omission will be added. No doubt there will be a press release from YTB on this latest "acquisition" as well

Interesting information you claim about YTB! Have you seen the year end reports and the income reports that have the low, average and high income earned last year? I've been in YTB for a few months and the checks are coming in and it has already paid for my investment. The company has incredible training provided online, live and phone training. If YTB was a scam we would not be publicaly traded? YTB is also a member of the Direct Selling Association that prohibits pyramid schemes, and to my knowledge the Attorney General has joined YTB! Keep your comments coming, its people like yourself that will motivate YTB to prevail. Best of luck to you and your travel business.

  1. John, JOhn, John.....where do I begin.

First off, you post one persons email as your source?

Second, you ASSUME that when that email was sent she was referring to the US AG. Of course you know that each state has an AG.
She also said "to my knowledge" and as you know, things get twisted. Maybe someone told her that there was some investigation in some state and that that state's AG has now said that YTB is all clear; she may have interpreted it as the AG is on board with YTB meaning he/she has joined. But, the meat of your blog posts have been getting leaner and leaner by the day. Keep it up.

  2. But maybe if she had some doubts, she should just not have sent it. But this merely goes to prove that there is little to no control over any of the information (or misinformation) disseminated by the Reps and RTAs of YTB.

Florida Senator on Board (nowhere is this substantiated)
    Seligman(everywhere this is disproven)
YTB is not on IATA's list (false)
YTB has already sold $500M in travel this year --as stated in November 2007 (false)
Proud TO Be Earns $30K a month selling travel (false)
    YTB acquisition of ADI (undetermined)

See, there is not a great record of much truth coming from the field. Hence my position of relying on sources that are more credible.

And for the record, because I know a lot of people may not understand, this post is satire. I do not believe for one minute that the AG (and when you say AG you are referring to the US AG otherwise you would properly say the FL AG or the CA AG)of the US or any State has joined YTB as an RTA or a Rep. Maybe he has joined another sector of government in investigating YTB. I dunno.

  3. I got the satire part, but I would say that which AG you are referring to depends on the conversation. I would agree that if one state's AG was brought up in conversation that if I was then to send you an email I would probably mention which one.

By the way, the FL senator thing I believe was about a staffer in his office and that I know for a fact is true

  4. It was not a staffer--it was the tale of a Florida State Senator that was on the BOARD of YTB.

  5. Well, she probably know an attorney and has heard of a genral...isn't that enough?

  6. Clearly she's an idiot.
Maybe she meant to say the attorney general is investigating the pyramid scheme that she is in.

  7. Wonder how long before these morons claim that the President of the United States joined?

  8. I heard the Clintons are in YTB too.

    ReplyDelete
  9. i heard that YTb is doing the travel arrangements for the Clinton campaign. As I recall, and it may be faulty memory, it was Tom who mentioned this last fall.

  10. I happen to know who is doing the Clinton Campaign Travel, as well as McCain - neither are being done by YTB. No either the above is a joke or someone is a complete idiot.

  11. Wonder how the Clintons can get through that huge line of people beating down the door outside of YTB HQs?

  12. John...Did your Regina column get the most responses of all of your blog posts? It's strange for me to believe that Doug and the rest of the YTB people are so upset with that post. As you pointed out, just about everything that comes from YTB or one of their RTAs is BS or highly exaggerated. Keep the heat on these RATS from us "thugs and goons," as Doug so lovingly refers to us. Hey, didn't he move on several times now? Guess not.

  13. "Hey, didn't he move on several times now? Guess not."

He claims he made a "decision" not to spend any energy on attempting to answer any of the TTA's and their misconceptions.

He started off ok, but has fallen back into his old ways; he's probably addicted to the fight and needs an intervention to help him stop.

  14. Wow, I just read that over there. If 2800 words is "letting it go" I wonder what the alternative is?

    War and Peace--look out!

  15. Let's face reality.

Any member of YTB can and will say whatever they want concerning YTB to convince new members that it is a valid opportunity for success and wealth. Exaggeration of, or omission of, the truth is acceptable when used for recruiting pruposes. Travel sales are no more than another 'come on' to sweeten the deal and adds a romantic cachet to validate the recruiting. This will never stop. YTB would fail miserably if people thought they could not 'travel like a pro', get industry discounts and the like. They might as well fill up the garage with juice. or Kool-ade. I would venture that members hot on recruiting like Doug are earning far more recruiting than they are selling travel, and attempts by the con-YTB group hurt and intimidate him and his efforts to enrich himself at the expense of others. Thus his rants against the traditional travel sellers who question again and again where truth is in the recruiting equation. Mr Bauknight would like us to believe that because he, or any other YTB blogger, says it then it must be true. And we, sadly, know differently.
Keep up the good work TTA's and those who support you.

  16. So has the Crystal Marchinek told you where she got this info? I noticed she hasn't been on here to defend herself. I suppose it's easy to mix up being investigated by the a.g.'s office with them being in your downline. Maybe you should cut her some slack John.

  17. "the mythical Florida Senator"

That would be Burt Saunders, who was introduced and spoke to all attendees at the 2007 national convention.

"and the Director from Florida that was investigated and slapped down by the Florida Attorney General"

You are referring to Rick Ricketts ... someone complained, there was an investigation, and the case was closed, no action taken, i.e. no slap down. So don't pretend you don't lie. If there was a slap down, please let us know what the penalty was/is. You can't.

  18. "YTB acquisition of ADI (undetermined)"

Ohh, so now it's 'undetermined', but on Friday Regina was a liar. Sorry John, but this is far from a retraction and apology, but I see you're getting there.

And as far as the little boy's picture, it's not the picture itself that is so offensive, but the conveyance of John's vile sentiment toward Regina, someone he has never met, with no justification for such an extreme reaction to a true statement. His rush to call her a liar and to tell her to f*** off is actually an expression of his frustration, knowing the YTB train is a comin' and his efforts to stop it were, are, and will be unavailing.

How would you feel, John, if someone said that to your wife -- for any reason? If that wouldn't upset you, you are not a man.

  19. "I suppose it's easy to mix up being investigated by the a.g.'s office with them being in your downline."

Ok, so now exactly which AG's office is investigating YTB or one of its Reps/RTAs? Or are you just making this up?

Oh, I know! If you close your eyes really really tight and wish really really hard, maybe it will come true!!

    ReplyDelete
  20. I did not retract the post. I gave the benefit of a doubt with "undetermined" because so mnany of you are sure it is a done deal. As I said a bunch of times, when there is something official, I will gladly retract. But the longer it goes, the more likely that her post was indeed just misinformation passed along to enhance recruiting efforts. Sort of like saying YTB had 400,000 RTAs in September of last year (which someone said) and then saying "see it was true" in 2009 if and when it happens. So stop posting here and call YTB and ask them to put out a release. Maybe call ADI and ask them to do it.

You people need to get over the picture...it was grabbed off the internet like most of the graphics. It was grabbed with the balloon as well. Google it and you will find it. I felt it was a better image to portray than a sinister minister doing something less than evangelical.

  22. Hey we are all excited about Bob joining YTB because he will clean house. All you dorks and scumbags that don't sell and are making your money off of your down line and recruiting will be out the door. Bog isn't going to screw up his reputation coddling you idiots.

    Praise the Lord!

  23. Anon--This is mind boggling but he was asked to be on the BOARD not become the CEO. Typically Boards are merely advisory in nature and the members while they yield influence, they yield very little power. Their job is to make sure the company is profitable and the CEO is doing his job. They typically do not get involved int he day to day runnings of the company.

And Dickinson is retired. His reputation stands on it's own but once you are retired...really does a reputation mean anything any longer?
